Window documentation, assessment, and specifications

    1. Review resources at Window Conservation and other material.
    2. Create teams for on-site work; delegate responsibilities of specific off-site work.
    3. Review existing documention of the site for references specific to windows, and related 'systems' and components.
    4. Preview pertinent specifications of other projects to inform work (both assessment and later work)
    5. Preview "Architectural Conservation Assessment Data — Fields and Values"
    6. Develop project-specific "Architectural Conservation Assessment Form".
    7. Select and develop field-measured drawings of at least one 'typical' window. Include:
      1. elevation,
      2. plan,
      3. section and
      4. pertinent details.
    8. Photograph windows, including scale.
    9. Assess existing conditions of components.
    10. Based on project needs:
      1. Identify other resources and standards.
      2. Conservation report and (later) specifications will be aided by our site visits to Heritage Restoration and Troy City Woodwork.
      3. Research other pertinent services and products.
    11. Develop treatment recommendations.
    12. Identify potential, related work, coordination of work.
    13. Recommend additional, and/or next work.
    14. Compile as a conservation report.
    15. Write window sash specification for work (later).
