Annotated Bibliography guidelines.

Your "working" AB should shows that you are familiar with the most current and important (including historic material) works in the field and have located a variety of materials (books, articles, Internet resources) specific to your thesis.

  1. Access the following resources.
  2. Obtain specific publications pertinent to your thesis.
  3. Record where adn how you found each publication.
  4. Evaluate the value to each resources as it pertains to your thesis.
  5. Be ready to discuss youf findings in class.
  6. Suggest other resources that have helped you in developing your AB.

  1. If you have not acquired specific books, request them soon through an Interlibrary Loan Requests at RWU main Library.

E-Books, RWU main Lirary. You need your library barcode to access some of these resources. Access is available both on and off campus.

  1. netLibrary is a collection of general e-book titles. To check out titles, simply create an account at the netLibrary web site. Visit "Want to learn more about What's Available through your library?"
  2. Ebrary has ull-text online access to over 14,000 titles.
  3. Project Gutenberg provides free online access to out-of-copyright texts. Advanced Search and Browse By Language: English . It is likely easier to obtain any of these titles through Interlibrary Loan.
  4. Digital Book Index is an index of digital books that are both free and fee-based.  Fee-based books will link you to the publisher's site for login or purchase.  Free titles may be available in html, pdf, or other online formats. About 15,000 volumes in North American history. More than 1000 historical documents are arranged in chronological order. Login.
