Scope

Catalogue all openings as part of interrelated system-based approach to collections and facilities management.

Employ drawings, photographs, and written descriptions — all interrelated using a relational database that references standards for terminology, museum cataloguing and architectural construction, including reference to Construction Specifications Institute divisions.

Integrate with collections stewardship and preservation treatments. As part of the collections, refer and defer to preservation standards for all work, with proposed preservation treatments and the qualifications of recommended specialists reviewed by the Conservation Department.
