  • Columns, where present are confined to porches or window tabernacle frames
  • Stone faced (typically "brownstone"), stucco or cast-iron details with rustication on ground story, balustraded porches, and quoins
  • Large trabeated windows linked horizontally by string courses
  • Debased Roman classical detail
